Planned trip to Seattle and Vancouver- any experiences?

Retro - seriously unlikely to happen. Mind you some folks are not very bear aware. On one road out of Banff, I saw a couple place their child between them and the bear so they could get a photo of the child and the bear at the same time !
If camping outdoors in the National Parks be mindful off how attractive to bears/wolves/mountain lions your food is. Tourist get big fines for storing food in their tents or disposing of food outside the bear proof dumpsters.
Most of the bears in and around Banff/Canmore who have displayed risky behaviors are radio collar tagged and tracked.

The sister of one of my work colleagues was mauled by a mountain lion whilst cross country skiing - and she was aware of the risks. But that was a longtime ago.

Hitting a road crossing elk or moose can be devastating to too - not just for the animal.

Enjoy and respect the wildlife at a distance.

Good skiing at Revelstoke. Been helicopter skiing there twice and would like to go back.
