It's turning colder but Ludo doesn't care:

Fabulous folks. There’s still time for anyone else to put a pic up here (and make my job even harder). Midnight Sunday is the deadline.

What a lovely set of pictures - nine this time. Thanks everyone - we all win really.

I do like SteveG's very evocative picture of Ludo in the foreground and the dynamism of the water and the superb autumn colours. Lefty's is superb - the Lakeland autumn and magic wisp of mist. Rockmeister's geese remind me of wonderful sights and sounds of these lovely migrating birds. gintonic saw the ground not the tree - smart and it really works. And Tony L's sublime seascape would look fabulous on any wall or gallery for its colours and composition.

No bad ones here but it has to be a personal choice I and for me SteveG wins by a whisker - it just works and is the one I keep returning to. Nice one Steve and bring on the next theme.

Well done, Steve G. So much to look at in that photo.
And thanks Ian. I really must have it printed!

Thanks for that! I had intended taking a picture of just the river and the trees but Ludo decided to help out by adding a bit of foreground interest, which was nice of him.

Some nice shots in this - I particularly liked Rockmeister's one with the geese myself.

I showed my wife (after I'd decided) and she straight away said she'd prefer it without Ludo! I think he definitely belongs in the photo so there you go!
