'Upside-down' can be interpreted literally, but I've been particularly thinking of the 'Feast Of Fools':

Here are some upside down conically shaped Joss sticks. Instead of being placed vertically in a jar or a pot, they hand from the ceiling on frames.

Nerd info: Nikon D3, 24-70 F2.8, at 62mm F2.8, ISO 3200 (pretty dark in there)
Taken in a temple in HK today.

That is why every temple has three or four people running around with a) brooms and b) new Joss sticks.

Have just swapped another picture for the one originally posted - pretty hard to choose the right frame on a laptop. Much better monitor at home means I though this one looked a bit better.

Advancing age and continuing problems with my lower back have made this theme a great challenge as I can no longer get myself upside-down.

I did see an upside down t-shirt in Oxford St. last night but it didn't really allow much of a photo op.

Upside-down and naked is probably not a concept we want to explore too much.
