Some time ago I was struggling to recall a song I heard on the radio - posted here and enquired at the beeb as it was on the nick barraclough show (although some 10 months had passed since I decided to track down the erm track!)

Anyway they sent me an email today so thought I would report here how nice it is to get a bit of customer service - licence fee well worth it I would say:

Hi there.

Huge apologies for not having repsonded sooner but your email got lost
in our system. Anyway, I know exactly that the song you're after is
called Whiskey Lullaby and it is a duet by Brad Paisley and Alison
Krauss. It's a beautiful but macabre double-suicide drinking song and it
appears on his current album Mud On The Tires.

Best wishes,

Hi

some time ago you did a review of the best of the year type show - I
heard a song by a duet with (I think) Whisky in the title - I really
liked the song but never really thought about contacting you to find out
who it was by and the title etc until now. Only other thing I can recall
is that the subject matter was quite depressing re suicide or murder.
Any help you can offer would be much appreciated.

Kind regards

Darren

PS might not have been a duet and was at least 10 months ago ( I shan't
hold my breath!)
