its another example of the "never mind the quality feel the margin" approach in the hifi trade. The charlatans will probably have the brass neck to tell you that speakons dont sound good

105s have speaker protection fuses on the back panel right next to the banana sockets...first thing to do is check it.

solo's and twins use speakons unless you specify otherwise when ordering, my twins have speakons and they are great!

My whole PA rig uses them too, they are a solid reliable connection.
