Retirement present
We made an interesting comparison this week, Olivia Sham, pianist, played a Concert in Ripon Cathedral which was superb technically, with outstanding musicianship, additionally the acoustic was stunning with a sense of presence surpassing any Hi Fi I have ever heard. We bought an early release of her CD and listened the next day at home. I have not been able to reproduce the ambience or the sheer sense of space, but the system came fairly close. Is it possible does anyone think, to reproduce a Steinway at home in a reasonably size room?
