Olive Naim NAP250 Uneven turn on pop

Hello guys,

I have this olive nap250, that has been recapped by a 3rd party. I am concerned about the turn on pop in which the left channel pop is significantly louder than the right channel. Is this something to be concerned about? The repair guy measured with his oscilloscope and said there is a perfect matching between the 2 channels, and the DC offset is low around 10mV.

Thanks for your replies guys. It was recapped a few months ago. However I am not asking whether the pops are normal, but rather whether a significantly louder pop on the left side is ok?

i think it's general, naim use to have very high current, so turn on/off will always got that pop sound, no worry

I switch on the NAC 32 and NAXO and give them a few seconds to stabilise before powering up my 250s. When I am switching off I turn off the power amps and allow them to power down before turning off the pre-amp and crossover.

This avoids any nasty noises and helps protect the speakers.
