Maybe Apple has run out of names but the new beta macOS 10.14 has a background of sand and has been named Mojave!

Apple say its a new o/s but the download is only 12.7MB so I guess it is a patch of High Sierra. Any who I installed it on a small 2 core VM with only 2GB memory to try it out. Took around 40 minutes of disk activity before a reboot that also took around the same time.

Apart from the sand the only thing to hit me at this early stage is the feedback assistant for us testers and a News entry in the dock.

Any other mugs giving it a try?

I have had a play now and again with Mojave and it would appear that file sharing isn't working well not for me anyway.

IIRC from the WWDC you can run iOS apps on it somehow. Can’t remember what else is new other than a stealthy black ‘night’ mode so you can pretend to be some hacker geek.
