Hi,

I just wanted to share a podcast I've been enjoying a lot recently which goes in depth (multi-episode) into histories of bands. They are currently doing The Velvet Underground. Here is a link to their webpage but they appear to be broadly available on the usual podcast platforms.

I've just noticed The Velvet Underground is not listed on their webpage, but is on podcast platforms (mine anyway). The Velvets episodes can be accessed via their webpage RSS feed though

I love all the bands that these podcasts cover...so started with the dead Kennedys

The presenters are knowledgeable ...but a little grating for me....and the snippets of other bands too short .. considering each podcast runs to three or four instalments...why not play the whole song if you are saying a particular band was an influence etc
But overall a great find!
