New Vertere Phono-1 Phono Stage - Anyone tried it?

Anyone tried the Phono-1 MkII?
My Mrs. loved it and thinks that the small form factor and design are a bonus at about 20% of the size my other black boxes. Her description was "clear and detailed".
8 gain settings and 8 load settings underneath to match it to a wide variety of cartridges without the need for a SUT.

Sounding even better than first impressions. As it is adjustable and doesn't need the additional expense of a SUT it has a great performance /price ratio. In a medium to high performance system it allows the TT front end to shine.

What's the technology inside it? LCR? Transconductance? Zero feedback? Opamps?
