Not to my ears, but I wasn't really listening out for it. I'd be astounded if it hadn't been through some form of digital mastering/restoration though.

Is there anything obviously “modern”/screwed up about the production? The Steve Hoffman thread was implying R&B drum machines and even ‘auto-tune’!

Nothing obviously offensive as that from my couple of listens.

Precisely what do autotuned vocals sound like then to be able to detect them?

I think the drum machine thing (possibly the autotune thing too) is a bit of a Red Herring, because SaLaAM ReMi remixed some tracks.
