New Lampchop

OK. I'm in love. This is a wonderful record, but slow to give up its pleasures.

The way to let this into your life is to play it in the background for a few weeks without taking too much nitice or asking for too many instant pleasures, then sit, drink a couple of glasses of good red wine, clear the house of distractions and play. The hooks and phrasing, the strings, the mood and timbre will melt your heart. As Alex said, a bit like Lambchop do Tindersticks - which can only be a good thing, but also lovely in its own right.

Lambchop were on C4 late last night on some Uk festival thing (it seemed way fresher/ more interesting than other current festivals, Chillman or something dippy it was called)- quite an odd and aged bloke Mr lamchop is! interesting music (and amusing lyrics it seemed) -although a bit light/fragile for me.
Captain.
