In an act of probable insanity I bought the little Nak 420 power amp as it was so cute, looked mint with box and manual, and it seems very well liked based on reviews. The lesson I clearly haven’t learned from my lovely Sony TA-1140 is it is full of crazy unobtainable transistors. I suspect I’m an idiot, but hopefully it will last on the originals. It is allegedly fully working. I got them to check the serial for me and it is the final spec with speaker protection and a circuit revision. May land tomorrow.

I remember this series. There were several units…..mixer?,tuner,amp; all looking like this, wedge shaped. A bit like my Yamaha TC 800 cassette player (that needs fixing…….)
The days when hifi was -occasionally - interesting to look at.
Sliders,etc!!
