Nait 1 phono input

I have just been given the loan of a nait 1.

My question is can the phono input be changed to a line level input with a quick mod? as I would like to use the RCA's as I don't have a good quality RCA-Din cable handy.

Keeping in mind that I will need to return the amp with the phono stage working. Any mod will need to be undone.

I also don't feel like shelling out lots of $$$$ for one as I don't think I would ever use one again.

Sounds good just using a cheap Din-RCA cable but do feel I'm missing something.

G'day mate,

No is the easy answer, the Nait I/P's (and O/P's) are all integrated on a single board together with the PSU etc, and would involve some obvious soldering, and a bit of electronics knowledge to implement.

If you are determined to try this however, search for Andy Weekes on this forum, and give him a PM about it, he is undoubtedly the most knowledgable person to ask.

Hope this helps
Nada
