Naim preamp with RSL boards all the same?

Hello,
I'm looking for a 32.5 to go with my 160 BD but they are getting scarce. Can we say that all x.5 preamps with RSL boards sound the same?

I don't think that there would be much difference tbh, because you are replacing all of the internal cards. The NAC32.5 is a very nice pre-amp though and it has 5 inputs too. I bought a 32.5 recently and paid £380 for it, so they do come up; I got mine from Gumtree.

I have a fully loaded green led 32.5 which is spanking condition which could be prised out of my hands, but it wont be 380.But perhaps you are not bothered over condition etc.

I think if you want to upgrade more than just the phono boards, you'll need a 32.5 or 72, as the 42.5/62 aren't modular apart from the phono boards.
