Naim NAIT 5i Owners Question

I'm interested in buying a 2nd hand Naim Nait 5i amplifier.

Does anyone know if it remembers it's last volume setting when it powers on?
And, does power on by remote control?

Well it’s a volume dial, so it just stays put unless someone manually adjusts it when it’s powered off.

There is no standby function, the power switch is on the rear right, it just reach round and switch it on/off, it’s easily accessible if it’s on an open rack or shelf.

It’s a fabulous and in my opinion, rather under rated amplifier, mine is used 7 days a week.

You can't power on/off the Nait 5i by remote. (it's best to have the amp (like all Naim components) powered on 24/7 as adviced by Naim. The amp gives a rather nasty, loud plop through the speakers when it's powered on)
