Naim NAC92 DIY disaster anybody?

Can‘t believe this mess sold for £109.
Some people just pay silly prices for Naim not working units (ie CD players) and spare parts!

Agreed. Been watching a few eBay sales recently just for fun. Naim odd bin parts good as money in the bank.
Who fixing these? Are they really worth? Is like crypto currency drive up price without logic.

What get's me is that there is a market for used Naim components that have been removed after a service. Why would anybody in their right mind buy them?

Actually emailed Darren (and WHat) during 2020 lockdown about fixing my damaged CD5 because of courier. He said he can’t do CDs anymore.
I thought Naim was reasonable at time.
I decided to get a nice CD3.5 instead.

Still have the broken CD5 in case I want to fix on day… Mrs tried to bin it into the cycling centre… I knew better.

I keep thinking it could be scammers. Too good to be true.
Never sold anything on eBay doesn’t help. Only ever purchased that has been great. No issues.
