Naim Nac 72 selector knob how to tighten

On my Naim Nac 72 the source selector knob keeps working loose although I take it apart and tighten the screw inside it.
Is there something else I need to do ?
Is there a way to fix this so it doesn’t keep working lose ?

Take it apart?

You tighten the screw while it is on the shaft of the selector switch...

If it's still coming loose...then the knob has probably cracked inside

You need to check this hasn't happened...and if it has..and it's not too bad..then you can reinforce the knob by filling it with hot glue or epoxy resin

Ok thanks I had been taking the knob apart and tightening the screw but hadn’t thought too look inside
I will take a look and see what’s going on.

Also, be aware that the rubber surrounds can stretch and lose grip on the knob. A ring of tape around the wider part of the knob will increase its diameter enough to restore grip.

If you're knob is damaged beyond savings , then maybe @booja30 is still making 3d printed ones??
