Yes, if 42.5 has the 5pin plug

Will he not need the blanking plug for the 5 pin socket though? Otherwise, yes a 180 will power a 42 / 42.5 - connect the SNAIC4 between the 180 and the 4 pin DIN socket marked 'Output' on the 42.5

If it doesn't have the 5-pin plug they're usually easy to get cheap on Ebay. I had to buy one recently for my 32.5 as I'd misplaced the original one.
