NAD 4225 Manual

My modding is moving towards my tuna...

Has anyone a copy of the service manual for this beast that they are prepared to share?

Cheers.

this beast

Hi Garf
No offense but beast?
The 4225 is the ugly duckling that even NAD would like to to forget... the 402 that followed it was miles better.
I think you'll be wasting your time trying to make something out of it.
Just my two Shekels...

Ack, it's a pretty good sounding tuna for the £15 I paid for it and I recalled it getting quite rave reviews at its launch.

Anyhow, it's far better than the Prinzsound it replaced I can tell you!! :)

the rave reviews it got in What Hi-Fi?

I was probably a lot more naive then and I needed a tuner quickly. Even a lowly Technics that replced it was miles better.

I seem to remember the "euphonic" NAD reminded me of my dad's kit tuner he built when he was a lad.

Good luck and keep us posted, I still have mine in storage;)

Cheers,

That's not a bad deal... I got rid of mine for about 50 UKP, sometimes prices in Israel are funny.
One thing I did to it when I had it is install an RFI filter (Schafner), to keep it from spilling RF junk into the mains. That's about it.
Goodluck anyway...
