NAC72 CD input

Hi folks!

Just received a mint looking 1995-era NAC72 pre (have a NAP140 arriving tomorrow).

Just had the top off to see which cards are included:

324/7 (x2)

325/7 (x1)

NA729/1 (x2)

NA321/5 (x2)

I bought it on the understanding there were no phono boards (I have an external stage at any rate). However if I trace the CD input wires to the circuit board there's a series of pins there but no cards, or even jumper wires, at all. Is this right, or should there be a couple of cards there to enable the CD input to work?

Many thanks,

- John

Thanks for that Malcolm - yes I have links :)

I take it from what I have read elsewhere on this site it is OK to pull out both tape boards (324's).

I'll be using the Tuner input for a second DAC so I presume there is nothing I need to do here?

Lastly, I presume if I relink the wires next to the space where the phono cards would be (if I had any) that becomes another straight through line level stage? So I could run my Trichord Dino into that BNC input?

Thanks,

- John
