Musical Fidelity LS3/5A

LS3/5A + A1 sounded very nice indeed , not heard speakers with other amps

They appear to be more or less Falcons. Found this review after curiosity about the source of the drivers.

“The LS3/5a is a two-way speaker, with replicate drivers from KEF, made, if I'm not mistaken, by Volt for Falcon Acoustics: it's a T27 dome tweeter with a mylar diaphragm, and a B110 with a diaphragm made of Bextrene, a type of plastic”.

MF must feel they can leverage their brand identity and pairing with the A1 to pick up sales.

Are we coming back to another HFN multiple review of available LS3/5As ?
After the recent article ‘A fresh look at the LS3/5A’ in the June ‘23 HFN I rather doubt it.

Heinz Lichtenegger was a MF dealer in austria & sold thousands of A1s before he started Project as a huge fan/owner of the A1 / LS3/5a
From day one he said the A1 / LS3 would be back in production with 21st design & parts

Thousands, not literally I assume.....well we made all the boards from day 1 to finish and I don't recall making that many.

Not sure about opening the USM pedestal‘s drawers without knocking over the left speaker.

I found this reference to Volt interesting, as Derek Hughes uses them to make drive units for Graham Audio.
My Graham Audio Chartwell LS3/5s bass/mid. drivers look very much like Kef B110s.
