I have been taking quite a few pictures lately, and i find that i am drawn more & more to mono. Im not sure what it is, but i find that the lack of colour seems to reveal more detail if that makes sense, either that or it's absence allows you to concentrate more on the subject than the "shot".

Here's a couple, i would welcome your comments.

Nice shots. I like them both. Panning technique in no 1 is spot on - like the blur on the wheels as well as the background. Welcome to the mono world. I would say that over 90% of my output is mono. Even better when it's film and a proper silver print (fibre based paper preferably).

Thanks for your comments Charlie, i must say you have some nice work on the web site, I am thinking of attending Goodwood myself this year, its always been a clash with Glastonbury in the past.
