We recently sold a Naim CD5 XS (serial number 280473) which appears to have gone missing somewhere between Manchester and York. Please would you let us know if you come across it?

This happened to me back in 2013 with a courier I won't name.
I sold a pair of Dynaudio 42 speakers
The driver thought he had left the package with a neighbour, guess what, wrong area, never saw them again, a certain Mr Smith signed for the package ,put in a claim for lost goods, recovered every penny
I suggest you do the same as it has gone I'm afraid & the courier company will not even attempt to find it.
Items such as this do not disappear during shipping, they get delivered to the wrong address, the driver thinks, nice little earner or the item is damaged beyond repair so it mysteriously "goes missing"
Put your claim in early as I did otherwise it will drag on for months.
