MiFiD II - Can I become a subject matter expert by Monday?

Thinking of applying for a job where I qualify in all aspects apart from being a subject matter expert on MifiD II. The challenge is on. Can I blag it by Monday based on a weekend of research and reading?!?

Any helpful thoughts or sources of research will be helpful.

MiFiD will cause major work for trading firms and should reduce risk through some standardisation and increased transparency. But is the burden on firms too much?

Depends if it's a technical or compliance role.

I did a contract a while ago to bring a trading floor in line with mifid for call recording and it wasn't too bad (have done PCI DSS compliance in the past)

If it's a legal/compliance role then that's completely different.
