Melco N1-S38

Just taken delivery of Melco's new N1-S38 having upgraded from the N10. I cannot seem to get the Melco recognised by my browser which worked perfectly well with the N10.
Possibly a network problem or an N1 problem ??
Any one had experience of this who could offer any advice ?

Couple ideas to be going on with. More info might help someone advise.

You using Windows or Mac or Device?

Tried a factory reset - assuming theres a button shuffle or a paperclip option.

Had a look at the rear panel via Google. Do you have the LAN cable connected to your Router in the correct socket - one nearest the power socket. If you open your Router Admin page can you see the Melco in attached network devices and the IP address it has been allocated?

In browser try http://IP and https://IP
 
The set up is Router - cable - EE switch - cable - LAN port of N1-S38 - cable from Player port to dCS Vivaldi Upsampler.

Using an iPad and dCS Mosaic.

System worked fine with an N10. Upgrading to the N1-S38 has caused the problem, nothing else has changed.

Mosaic just can’t see the N1-S38. Have tried taking it back to factory settings but again no joy.

You’d be best asking over on the dCS community, Melco users pretty common over there.

Removed Mosaic App and reinstalled on iPad?

Hopefully someone will have the new Melco and offer a solution/useful advice. I’m over on there too, have Rossini Apex/Clock but use a Roon ROCK/NUC + QNAP NAS.
 
I can take a picture but posting on here is a problem - never managed to post pics successfully.

Can send by email if that is OK with you. Pl send.email address by PM.
 
Can you try without the ee switch in the loop first.
Is the melco receiving an Internet signal.
Player port switch on.
Not set to direct mode.
