Tough to call but, much as I don't like his style, Mayweather reads fighters like a book. With this only being boxing, an awful lot of McGregors advantages disappear.
 
McGregor has some power for a smallish chap and I think a knockout is his only chance against such a masterful boxer.
 
Tough to call whether Mayweather will win by TKO or decision. Be embarrassing to watch McGregor stumbling around for the full 12 rounds, stoppage in sixth or seventh due to cuts might have odds enough to be worth a punt, maybe?

+1 what hype.... for the money they'll both get... I'd take them both on, with a baseball bat
 
I doubt McGregor will last two rounds as a straight boxing match. This assumes they don't spend a few rounds dicking about to satisfy the punters.
 
I think our own British Welterweight Champion Bradley Skeete, would comfortably see off McGregor. A pantomime indeed.

McGregor Is an excellent MMA fighter but I can't see him beating Mayweather at boxing.

As I read somewhere it is like a 100m champion taking on a decathlon champ in a 100m race. Age may help McGregor, but if Mayweather has looked after himself it should be a relatively easy win for him.
