Having upgraded to active speakers, I'm selling my March Audio P502 stereo power amp. This is based on the Hypex NC502MP module (datasheet: https://www.hypex.nl/media/68/7d/93/1646057865/NC502MP_04xx.pdf). Briefly, it's a highly efficient, high power class D amplifier, rated at 500W into 4Ohm and 350W into 8Ohm.
Hypex Ncore amps are technically accomplished, beating most others on noise/distortion, while providing a lot of power in a small package, at a very reasonable price. They are just no fuss, "straight wire with gain" devices.
There are various NC502MP designs on the market, this one is a high quality example in a very nice compact case, with particular attention paid to heat dissipation. Essentially the whole case acts as a heatsink, keeping the electronics well within safe operating temperature. It's best used with balanced outputs from a preamp or DAC, but can be used with unbalanced RCA outputs with an appropriate cable (not supplied). This one is four years old, unmarked, and working perfectly.
