Major improvement SQ of your system with zero investments. Tips, tricks, advices.

You obviously have issues which are holding you back in life.
Imagining that you have friends is an indicator, along with culinary aspirations beyond the microwave.
Don’t let imagination get in your way. I bet there is a nice club for boys who like sheds nearby. Coats for goalposts, pies at halftime.

Unsure why cooking skills are in this thread, I guess if you had a nice meal it might improve your mood for listening.

Do you mean the Henley block type thing that comes into your house then meter tails to your meter?

My one is very old, looks like it was put in ,in the 40s or 50s.

No the block before the meter that has a tamper proof seal. Inside is a fuse.

Yes that's what I mean sorry for the confusion, the mains coming into your house.

I looked it up and they (National network) come and inspect it but talk about giving an estimate for the cost.

I cleaned the pins on my NOS Tungsram ecc82's (looked rather corroded/discoloured) with a brass brush (lightly) followed by wiping with cotton buds soaked with WD40 "specialist" contact cleaner (Halfords ~£8).
More dynamic/detailed? - may be kidding myself, but I'm happy :)

Try:-

Moving your speakers and your chair/ sofa.
Dressing/ un-knotting cables
Cleaning your contacts
Cleaning your vinyl if it has never been done
If you use a power block, change it or the order of plugs
Take more care about which streaming version of a track/ album you play
Either ditch the coffee table or put things on it so reflections are confused
If there is no rug, try putting one down
Check that boxes (not just speakers) are horizontal and not wobbly.
Unplug plug-in lights and the like

if you hear no difference after doing any of these, feel free to cross those off the list.

eh. it's just music
put it on in the background. cook some nice food with friends.

else you'll be hanging various amounts of coats off your door and making sure no interconnects touch walls

Seems you've only turned up here to annoy folk. If it's only music, why not hang around the music forum.

I'd add plugging your power amp into a wall socket rather than a multi socket with everything else.
