Loudspeakers You Wish To Try But Probably Won't Own In This Lifetime

Quad electrostatic ESL-63, I was offered a stereo pair for very low price where one of the speakers was crackling and I thought about using one in mono but for fear of up setting the boss I shyed away. Not sure how easy it is to get them refurbished / re skinned these days.

If they are anything like my Stax head phones they must be worth a listen. perhaps one day.

I’d like to hear some of the larger models from the Martin Logan ESL range, but I’m not sure of their compatibility with Naim amplifiers.

amazing speakers ..had the summit x here for 4 wonderful years . Cant comment on naim but cant see why not

The Curvi BMR MK2 is the only speaker I have found that just might tempt me away from my Duevels:

Not omnidirectional... but the BMR driver radiates more widely than conventional cones and domes, so none of that head-in-a-vice "sweet spot" nonsense; and having no crossover must be a good thing. Plus they are beautiful in the eye of this beholder

I’ve heard the Curvis; maybe not at their best, but they didn’t work for me.
