We have for sale a Linn LP12 turntable, this is fitted with an Avondale Audio tonearm and comes with an Avondale power supply as well.
No cartridge is included
The deck itself is black and the serial number dates it to 1982/83
The LP12 itself is supplied in its original box although some of the internal packing has seen better days.
No box for the PSU
Until very recently this deck was using a Benz Ruby cartridge and was demonstrated to me in excellent working order and sounding great. Very intermittently when you power it up it goes backwards, but if you turn it off and back on again it goes correctly, although this doesn’t happen very often to be fair.
Overall condition is good given age, there are a few marks if you look around, but not too bad at all.
Supplied with this turntable are the following belts
Lid / 2 Hinges
3 belts
3 piece counterweight
Transport bolts (fitted)
Oil
Platter/Mat
Also an Analogue Studio Anti Static Record Cleaning Arm is also fitted
Avondale Audio Power Supply & Power Cable (the cable hardwired into the Linn for the PSU is a Russ Andrews Yello)
Due to the fact the internal packing is not perfect I’m not prepared to ship this via courier. I’m happy to do a door step delivery within 50 miles of Newcastle upon Tyne at no cost otherwise it’s collection only or organising to meet somewhere like a motorway service station when we are able to at a pre-agreed cost.
