Had 3090s for a decade -which flew by!
A pity these have a flaw-it may be possible to find a mid-range uniy on t'Bay, if you wait.
'Mine' are only 5 miles away from me but much loved.

Never knew if the super tweeters worked.....came in at 17Kcs.

Wonderful speakers and the driver shouldn't be a complete loss unless the coil is burnt out, which is very unlikely. I bet one of the cone terminations has corroded and/or fallen off.

You should always replace the internal wiring and they really respond to some nicer components in the crossover as well, especially the treble section.
