I quite like Kelis, i watched her set at Glastonbury via the BBC and i also had a listen to set she did at SXSW, the BBC set sounded pretty great and captured live performance pretty well, her band are TIGHT, very impressive, the SXSW set isn't quite as good as the BBC recorded set (go figure! slightly different band too) but is listenable.
Anyway this morning looking at Spotify imagine my surprise to see a Kelis, Live in London album from Somerset House, pressed play and i pretty much guessed strait away who'd mastered the album!
Every modern album they do sounds er...Well lets just say has a "unique quality" to it, how they manage to bring this "unique quality" to nearly every modern album they do god only knows, at least i suppose they are consistent!
