I've just bought an old one. How easy are they to service? Does anyone have manual or schematics? Or should I leave it to the experts and if so, who?

Rob McElweee at soundstage knows all about them, he's rebuilt one or two.

Provided it mostly works I think its just about replacing perished rubber tubes and greasing things.

Tell you what oldius - in the time honoured PF way - just send it to me - its way too complicated - I'll even pay postage etc

Alternatively I will send you the thickest Power cable you ever saw that will make it sound better

I'm not interested unless you can provide lapis lazuli cones for it to stand on to improve the ebb of the fluids.

Had the Keith Monks serviced at the main dealer. He said it was close to new and needed nothing doing to it atall just a clean up. So delighted and well worth the journey to Camden and back!!!
