So, Keaton Henson has recently rereleased ‘Dear’ and ‘Bithdays’ on vinyl. ‘Birthdays’ was previously only released as a picture disk (of a pink birthday cake) and seemed to have a great deal of background noise, rather like noisy air conditioning. The new release has none of this noise but also has much lower low level detail and practically zero acoustic or atmosphere. Has anyone else found this?
