[WTD] JPN/UK voltage converter 1000W or higher

I am looking for a decent JPN/UK (230/100V) voltage convertor rated 1000W or higher to use with my newly bought Sansui amplifier.

If anybody has one for sale please feel free to drop me a message.

Thanks

I have two Airlink 1000W transformers that go the other way, UK/JPN (for running 230V equipment on Japanese 100V mains). Maybe they could be rewired?

@lencotweaker It is a shame that they go the other way as Airlink 1000W would definitely be of interest.

I am not sure if they could be rewired and if so what the cost would be (they would probably need to be sent back to Airlink and because they are quite heavy that would probably cost a bit in postage).

Thanks for your reply, anyway.

It could be, not sure. That's why it is probably best to go with a transformer that has originally been made to work with Japanese devices.

Is the 50/60Hz difference not an issue over here?

Frequency is the same in most of Japan - 50Hz, and only things like timers are affected within Japan,50Hz v 60Hz.
I have some Japanese kit and use the smallest Airlink wall wart.
