John Coltrane Blue Train

I see that Classic Records do stereo and mono versions of Blue Train, which one should I go for. What about the cheaper Blue Note vinyl, is that pressing any good.

go for the stereo classic records, unless you have a mono cart and preamp.
some of the earlier Blue Notes were really bad.

I have a blue note 1577 I bought new about a year ago, the pressing is very good. Maybe I just hit lucky.

I have a Blue Note pressing dated 1993 that despite being slightly 'dished' sounds fine

I have a mid 90's Blue Note version and its superb. However I have never heard an original pressing of this album so can't compare it with one of those.
