She is playing in Bonn this month...worth going to or not?

I like her early stuff more than the newer.

her backing band was/is (?) so tight ...... they were/are a pleasure to hear ... but I'm so out of date as its her early stuff I like too ..... I think she likes to give her audiences what they like to hear though .... I have a tape of her on a BBC live show from 27 years ago ........ gosh I guess Im an old giza.

Mmm we saw her supporting Van Morrison a couple of years ago, she put on an excellent show. Better than VM I thought. Performed lots of the classic stuff which is obviously what you want.

Saw her about 7 or 8 years ago, it was a pleasure, and she played loads of her oldest stuff. Her new album is blues based isn't it, but I read a review of her concert that mentioned lots of the earlier pieces.

8th May Royal Albert Hall.

I remember seeing she was touring the UK earlier in the year - we thought about going (Jane's a big fan of her early stuff), but inertia beat us.

Saw her in Brighton at the Dome a month back - she was very competent - swmbo is the fan, not me, but the bluesy stuff was very good. No regrets about seeing her, even though we did get lost on the way home.
