i ride a yzf1000 and regularly get blitzed by kids on 50cc scooters.

In fact mobility carriages often get the better of me.

If active isobariks were a motor bike they would be a Suzuki rg500 gamma.

Good point David,

In my case three 250s to power 'em. And a 1970s design of course.

So I reckon that makes them the equivalent of either a Kawasaki KH750, or poss the original Triumph Trident or BSA Rocket 3.

Without the oil leaks, thank god!!

So, here are mine:

Here they are (veneered baffle) being driven by an impressive amount of kit:

Here's a better schematic of the wiring:

As you can see, I had mine done so that they would be easily convertible between passive and active operation. This, of course, meant having an extra set of banana inputs fitted for each crossover.

A lot more work than Bert's approach, but I had someone else do the job for me, cost was 300 quid. I can't wait to listen to them (especially now that I've got a (CDS3/XPS-2 :D), but I'll need to get my house back of my tenants first… Grrrr…

Impressive rack of amplification as you say.

Fairly drastic speaker placement - but an effective way of resolving those dodgy early stereo Beatles mixes!!!
