isobarik external crossover

Hi

The very recent demise of the dirak powering my AKTIV crossover(today) has rekindled my interest in a backup passive xover for my PMS isobariks. These have 3 cannons on the back which I would imagine require to be taken off to allow access to the individual drivers and fitting a couple of external falcon type xovers, any experience of this out there ? diagrams etc?

all quiet on the isobarik front.

I guess there's no easy way of doing what you want to do unless you can come up with a passive xover designed to run the drivers in pairs, something the original xovers were never designed to do.(unless the external xovers are like this)

The external crossovers from later Briks will do the job, assuming cabled for XLR rather than 4mm.

If each XLR on the back has two black and two red then you could fiddle the wiring to run from a pair of Falcon style boards.
