All the while I am thinking I have a serious 'humming' (or ground loop) problem of my sub or the AVR has this DTS-bomb problem. After a long series of troubleshooting and isolating the source, I am now thinking whether my sub has a problem or AVR pre-out RCA cap is faulty?
Now from intermittent 'drumming', it is almost happening every time when there is something being played. Worse, the noise can be heard even I do not power up 8200Q (for Pre-Out Front L/R), and the source is not just Oppo95, but also Popcornhour, thru HDMI.
So far, it does seem that if I change to from HDMI to analog (ie. for Oppo95), the "drumming" doesnt seem to be heard.
I am hovering on the possibility of ground loop problem. Once I receive the anti-ground loop kit and connect it to sub, I am keeping *fingers crossed* the problem is solved.
Or it it not? That is, maybe my sub is faulty and/or AVR pre-out RCA cap is faulty?
This "drumming" or "humming" starts around the same time when I add 8200MB and 8200Q.
Anyone has any comment/idea......please? Tks
