Is Hi-Res a crock?

I don't know whether it's true, as Meridian claims, that some can hear 24kHz ... but at least I know I can't. I am happy with 16/44 anyway.

If you visit UHES, now at Moreton-in-the-Marsh, they can demo all three on the same recording. The MP3 is clearly inferior, but I could live with it. CD resolution was subtly inferior to high res, but I would not pay anything to get high res.
