iPad case advice.

I just received an iPad 10 which is great. Also bought an Apple ‘folio’ case (£89) which is going back as it offers no protection at all - might as well use two bits of cardboard from a cereal box… lol

What I’m after is a case with corner protection and a screen protector, but not huge and thick as the form of the iPad is so nice!!

I use a cheap kind of folio thing, it's a bit pish to be honest but it kind of works, a tenner from amazon, I think, much more important though is a screen protector.

I bought one of these below last year. I had another one too, with the camera protection thing, which was on my previous iPad Pro which apple replaced last year FOC cause the up volume button stopped working.

Can recommend the ESR screen protector too; but the JTech ones are just as good

As for a decent but not silly expensive case; the folio type ones like this are spot on:

Get the screen protectors separately from the case.

I decided to go for maximum protection, and my tablet lives in one of these kiddie cases; well padded, can bounce it about with abandon. Available for iPad too, in different colours

Thanks all, I got one of these -

ESR Ascend Trifold Case Compatible with iPad 10th Generation (2022, 10.9 Inch), Auto Sleep and Wake, Trifold Stand, Lightweight Hard Back Cover, Frosted Black https://amzn.eu/d/gp0IqDe

and their screen protector too.

Next question - I have an iPad mini first generation.. is it worth fixing the smashed outer screen? It has erratic button pressing going on too… because the screen is cracked I guess. Would changing the screen help, or is it likely to be the touchscreen beneath?

The mini 1st get is worth less than £50 in most circumstances so I wouldn't bother. In fact suspect repair would be more than its worth. They are now 11 years old, which even for Apple who tend to support devices longer than most is old.
