I bought this along with a few other random oddities, one of which turned out to be Thorsten Loesch’s Thunderstone Adagio DAC (with a little TLC I revived) which sounds wonderful, I’ve no doubt that this very cool looking enclosure and particularly completed DAC will also be preform way beyond expectations.
I’ve a feeling that it’s missing a valve rectifier stage? But if I’m honest this is beyond my capabilities.
so, rather than hoarding it away and coveting it’s great looks I’d prefer that someone assemble its final parts and bring it to life.
I’ve listed this as SWAP as it’s nigh on impossible for me to determine a value for it and really would just like to see it operational.
if someone would like to propose a swap or a value I have a weakness for MC cartridges, 6550 matched quads, ecc82’s, ecc83’s, 7025’s or suchlike.
