it's amazing what you can get out of a very thin neg with a scanner - whacks the grain up though

he's not doing too well

Actually less grainy than I was expecting. Tri-X 400 exposed at 3200 and pushed in DDX. My friend Nick in available (pub) light.

Experimenting with my Canon 450D, 50mm, F1.4 lens.

Is digital grain ok?

Delta 3200 pushed to 12800 from the RZ67. I developed this for 40 mins in LC29 (1+19). The massive development chart didn't even give useful numbers for 6400 for this developer, so I did a bit of finger in the air extrapolation.

and here is a crop to show the grain:

Nice grain Cesare, did you get anything out of the roll though the fuji?

I've yet to scan it. I messed up drying it, and it's got plenty of streaks on it (the RZ roll did as well but I washed it again and got rid of most of them). I'll give it a go later on today.

Anyone remembers Kodak Recording 2475 ?

Pushed to 4000 ASA or so. Under the enlarger you could count the dots.

Annemarie is married now, not to me though ... and I agree her beauty was far greater than my photographic talent.

P.S.: the JPEG compression and the subsequent imageshack resizing don't exactly improve the grain but there you go.

They look like stills from a French art house film!
