Idiotic things on new cars...

When did ICE stop being an acronym for in car entertainment?
I think the extra bright headlights and led taillights are un-necessary and I am sure bad for your eyes too.

My car's headlights are like the f-ing sun. The pattern they throw has a very clear outline. One thing I've noticed is that when I pull up behind another car at a light or stop sign, the pattern of my car's lights cuts off just below their outside mirror.

More like a specific petulant child had some design school dropout pen a sci-fi prop and demanded it be made.

Reminds me of the social satire side of the original 'Robo Cop' film in which the large domestic sedan was billed as model 6000 SUX.

Pontiac had a car called the "6000 LE". When you pulled up behind one, it looked like it said "Goolie".

I hate manufacturers using the brakes to reduce wheel spin rather than installing a lsd
I don't, the only car I ever had with an LSD was very harsh and when accelerating through the gears you could hear the backlash going "clack-clack" through the unsoundproofed transmission tunnel. I'm sure that there are LSDs and LSDs and I know that when they are dismantled you can adjust ramp angles to make them more or less notchy in operation, but they are not the cure-all you might hope.

That sounds like you had a remarkably specialised or indeed user unfriendly installation.

I used to love the whine of my mates lsd in his M3 but it was stripped out and track focused with solid mounts for the wavetrac diff, one of the best things I ever did to my mk2 golf was to fit a quaife diff, very slight increase in noise but that was due to vibratechnics engine/gearbox mounts.

That might be the case, it was on a Caterham 7 once used for racing and the whole thing was designed without compromise. Great fun, and a fantastic car to drive, but absolutely a racer for the road and not the friendliest of things. It's one thing that made me smile about a recent discussion of the Lancia Stratos, with people amazed that they weren't popular at the time. Well, they were expensive, high maintenance, with unforgiving handling and rather unpleasant to drive unless you were an expert driver operating them at 10/10ths. Going out for a nice afternoon drive in the countryside? Not really. Get an MGB instead.

I think it all went downhill when they removed the crank handle and only needed one key for the doors, boot and ignition. Everything else has been artifice since.
Yup, in fact ever since they added an engine I’ve no idea what to do with my horse.

He's definitely a character. I don't mind him personally, he wear's his personality on his sleeve and I quite like that honesty. He can be immature at times though, it's true. But I'd rather watch him than the "hey everyone look at how rich i am that I can afford a garage full of supercars" types like Shmee150 (who is truly unbearable). Harry's Garage is unbearably pedestian in the way he does his review. He'd be fine if he just talked faster :D
I sometimes watch Harry's Garage with the speed setting on YT at 1.5x or more......

we love some huge rims
