Selling these great speakers from Icon Audio, the FRm1’s (Full Range Monitor).
They incorporate a single 8” full range paper driver & are front ported for easy placement.
96b sensitivity and 8 ohms make them a very easy load and as you would expect are particularly well matched to low output valve amplification - I was using them to great effect with my WAD KEL84.
Come with everything seen in the photos as they did from the Leicester factory and includes the no loss attenuators to allow you tailor the sound depending on room etc (last and original owner upgraded the caps I believe in these external boxes).
Finished in dark Rosewood they look fabulous with only a couple of small marks that I’ve tried to show in the photo’s.
Although they come boxed, I’d much prefer to have them collected from me in Cambridgeshire, however I would allow a potential buyer to arrange their own carrier at their own risk / cost.
Lastly please note that they do not come with the stands shown in the photo’s however I would be willing to discuss these with a buyer if they wanted stands also.
Looking for £295 collected which is an absolute steal given they’re £1295 new.
