Ian Brown on Jools Holland

Came in from the pub last night to see Ian Brown "singing" live on JoolsHolland. IMHO it was awful to say the least, the guy cannot sing live he was totaly flat and out of tune.One of the top indie artists of our time has been found out.I like the guys music but I would certainly think twice about shelling out to see him live after that performance.

Where have you been?
You only have to watch some of the Stone Roses performances to know that Ian Brown has never been the most gifted vocalist. In one of the early Roses interviews Ian Brown openly admtted that he was the weak link in the band!
Last nights performance was just business as usual for Mr. Brown i'm afraid.

Never the best singer in the world but I thought the songs themselves weren't too bad.

Damn sight better than having to listen to the Beautiful South trying to do cover versions - now that was painful.
