How the mightly (Hicap) has fallen...

Brand new for second hand prices. This needs to go in the new ebay-sticky in the classified section.

Given that a new one for £1195 would include the discrete regulators I don't think this one plus the cost of the upgrade looks like a spectacular bargain.

What a bummer for Messrs L&C!

They take the trouble to actually stock suff so that you can walk in, like it , buy it and walk out with it, The the spec changes leaving them with an obsolete older one, albeit with full warranty, and it's still a good thing.

Good on 'em for seling it of cheap I say - its a brand new thing for a second hand price, what the hell do people want for ****'s sake?

Poss, I know you're fond of a Naim bash here and there.

But really, the new DR HiCap is rather good; have you heard it?

Gaius, so I hear....

Not sure you could call me a Naim basher (I have owned and continue to be a Naim owner). I love their products. Have been very critical of their forum though...

Maybe Naim were offering retro discount on any held stock. We do that sometimes at end of product lifecycle.
