Horning Perikles Horn Speakers for sale.
They are manufactured in Denmark by Tommy Horning. The Horning base model now costs nearly 10K and the Perikles was in the middle of the range.
They are 96dB efficient and they can be driven by low-powered amps with a 2 WPC output!
They are particularly suited to valve amplifiers, but they will work well with transistor and class D amps.
They use Lowther DX2 drive units, which are costly, together with a wooden-surround Horning super tweeter and a 12” bass unit. The black circular port at the rear can also be turned to increase the bass response.
Beautiful, deep cherry cabinets with a few superficial marks.

Dimensions - 40.75” x 10.5” x 19” HWD.
Demonstration and collection from Gloucestershire preferred, but a meet-up may be possible. These speakers are far too large, heavy and valuable to be sent by courier.
